The Wedding of Genevieve and James

This wedding was in October 2009 and the church had been decorated for Harvest Thanksgiving so the theme was continued for the reception in the marquee.

Many of the flowers came from my garden and fruits, berries and corn were included in the designs. The thistle Eryngium were added as Genevieve has fond memories of Scotland.

Genevieve did not want traditional pedestal designs so a more contemporary look was used. Her bouquet was enclosed in a ring of clematis that trailed down with beads and rolled rose petals on gold wire.
